NASoW visits National Assembly, National Human Rights Commission [PHOTOS]

In its bid to meet key stakeholders to discuss critical issues related to Social Work practice in Nigeria, the Nigeria Association of Social Workers (NASoW) has visited the National Assembly and the National Human Rights Commission. 

The visit was led by NASoW National President, Alhaji Mashood Mustapha. 

The association during the visit to the National Assembly had the opportunity to meet with Senator Diket Plang representing Plateau Central. 

Mustapha while leading members of the association to meet Senator Plang who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Employment and Productivity noted that the association will continue to engage major stakeholders that will add value to social work practice in the country. 

NASoW President while meeting the Executive Secretary of National Human Rights Commission, Mr Anthony Ojukwu said that the association was ready to collaborate with the commission in the promotion and protection of human rights.
