National Executive members of Nigeria Association of Social Workers (NASoW) on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.
The national executive members of the association during the familiarisation visit met the Permanent Secretary of the ministry Dr Nasir Sani-Gwarzo and other principal officers among whom are directors in the ministry.
NASoW President, Alhaji Mashood Mustapha led other national executives to the ministry for a courtesy visit.

The PS in his address pledged that the ministry was ready to cooperate and work with the association in order to archive its aims.
Mustapha in his speech thanked the PS for the audience.
He briefed the PS on the progress of the association, the recently signed and gazetted Nigerian Council for Social Work [Establishment] Act 2022, the forthcoming International Federation of Social Workers (IFSW) Africa Region Conference to be hosted by Nigeria in November 2023, and other important matters.
